Emma + Michael

Emma and Michael were one of my rare exceptions where we did not meet before the wedding day. This is because Emma and Michael live in England and were here in Orlando on vacation. The vacation was already planned, and they said "Why not?" and got married while they were in town with only their 16 month old daughter and Emma's parent's in attendance.

I'm so impressed with Emma and Michael's gorgeous Wedding! And they planned it all from another country!

They made all the right choices! Starting with the gorgeous venue, Paradise Cove. Paradise Cove is always a highly recommended venue for almost any size Wedding, and particularly awesome for intimate weddings! Paradise Cove is located really close to Disney World, but when you arrive at the venue, you feel like you're in a secluded area! I love it! And the best part is that Paradise Cove is located on a large Lake with beaches and a boat dock, which provides the ability for a boat exit! And the staff at Paradise are just awesome! Again, I highly recommend Paradise Cove!

The Wedding day went so perfectly because of the great vendor's that Emma and Michael hired, including their harpist, coordinator, and officiant.

The entire event was just over an hour long, but had all the elegance, charm, and emotion that is found at large weddings. It was absolutely gorgeous and we wish Emma and Michael all the best in their new marriage!

Here are some of the moments that Jaime and I were able to capture.

Jennifer + Justin Engagement Session at Disney's Hollywood Studios

This week I was able to shoots very unique and fun engagement shoot at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. It was a rainy, gloomy day at a park full of tourists and like 100% humidity. Even so, Jennifer and Justin were AWESOME sports about it and totally rocked it! And Jaime and I had a blast!

Jennifer and Justin met while working at the candy store in Hollywood Studios. I have little doubt that there was some major flirting going on while making some of those DELICIOUS and intricat carmel apples.

Their connection is so deep and natural, it's no wonder that it wasn't much more than a year later that Justin was proposing in New York. Fast forward a year and a half to these adorable photos!

Olivia + Matt Engagements

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect going into Olivia + Matt's engagement session. I already knew that the couple would be fun to shoot, but they suggested a location that I knew nothing about. The location was very close to me at a barn owned by Olivia's friend, Becca. That's how it was explained to me at least. It wasn't until I showed up to the property that this was a full on farm complete with horses, donkeys, pigs, a goat, multiple pastures, orange groves, and piles of hay, and of course, one, gorgeous, very large, barn.

Suddenly I wished we had planned a 5 hour session.

We stuck to the barn and a nearby pasture and came out with some beautiful images!

This was my first time using my 35mm lens, and I'm SO glad I was able to bring it! I couldn't wait to get home and start working on some of their images.

But then, while culling, I noticed on one of my favorite images, an effect I had never seen before. Up around their faces, it looked like I added pixie dust or something? How did this happen? Was there something wrong with my new lens?

I took my question to some active photography forums where I quickly realized right along with them, that this was dust with the sun flair coming through. I guess I'm not used to dust all around the air here in Florida. Suddenly the photo went from something wrong to a natural and magical moment.

I learned so many new things this session! I also got a new assistant! Her name is Fiona:

She enjoyed making appearances and always wanted our attention!

Well I can't wait any longer, here are some of the beautiful moments I captured during Olivia + Matt's engagement session:
